However He did read " recovery of sight to the blind" which is present in the Septuagint, but not in the original Hebrew text. Jesus also added a portion of the passage in Isaiah 58:6 " TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED." Notice also that the original Hebrew text does not have the phrase "and recovery of sight to the blind." However the Septuagint does have that specific phrase which clearly indicates that Jesus was reading the Septuagint Greek and not the Masoretic Hebrew.
